changing the clocks is the only way to keep up with the trickery that the sun plays on us. why does it insist on always sliding here, then there, then showing up late, or hardly at all, then other times, seemingly hanging around way too long. it's all so rude.
lol 🙂

Not so. I would like, not only one hour, but two. And further, through the whole year.
It is nice to come home from work and it is still daylight! If it's dark when I go to work, I don't mind.

I think Palynka was talking about Dr. Strangelove, not summer time.

It was nice, but wouldn't make my list of favourite films.

Good grief dude.

Yes. Europe puts its clocks forwards and backwards... just like 90% of the known world...

And yes, putting the clocks forwards and backwards does have advantages.
They don't do it to test one's abilities with the micro-wave clock that is ever so hard to understand.

It's to give us more daylight in the evening, after supper, and not "waste it" in the early morning, when we don't really need it. Supposedly it saves energy, but I'm inclined to doubt that. Retailers love it and farmers hate it. You and I don't like it either. 😠
Was'nt it designed to help the farmers?
