Anybody know of any chess which is shown on telly? I remember when I was younger they showed Nigel Short against Kasparov on Channel 4 (UK). It was a big thing back then. Now it's totally disappeared. Maybe it didn't make exciting enough telly. Not enough DIY or family makeovers in it!!🙂

I'm not sure, but I think it was ESPN2 that showed Gary K's last game against Fritz. I watched every one like I was watching baseball or foot ball... had my board all set up.. very fun.

TV chess is cool as long as they show highlights from other chess games in the gap.... or at least show us what Gary does bahind that curtain of his! 😉

didn't they show the Kasparov/karpov game a few years ago on american TV?
