Well, take it for what it’s worth, but the two richest men to ever inhabit planet Earth have been divorced from their wives. This starts to beg an alarming question for all of us who are not multi-multi-multi-multi BILLIONAIRES.
If Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos can’t keep their wives happy and keep a successful marriage, what pure luck are we going to have to have to please a woman?
Let’s not play games here and kid ourselves, all marriages are good marriages when money is not a problem or an argument. It’s the second leading cause of all divorces. Not having enough of it will create issues in your marriage, this is a known fact. Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos have enough money both to last every person on Earth for a significant amount of time. Yet, they still ended up divorced. Why?
WELL. The more you earn, the more trouble can brew between a couple, some divorce lawyers say. Overall, divorces tend to pick up, rather than decrease, in periods of economic growth, when incomes rise across the board, according to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Maybe money doesn’t buy happiness, but that is a theory that I am willing to test out and find out for myself.
Bill and Jeff aren’t the prettiest lads ever created, but they are wildly intelligent and insanely wealthy, so that counts for something.
Let’s keep tagging along boys. Let’s defy these seemingly unmanageable odds.

I believe honesty and communication in a marriage, and really loving the person you are with can get you through it. Sometimes people just go their separate ways but remain good friends.

@torunn saidI found myself in Brazil.
A saying: A man divorces his wife when he finds another woman, a woman divorces a man when she finds herself." She often doesn't need a new man to take that step.
I then took the precaution of exchanging addresses with myself so if I lose myself again I don't have to spend 19hrs on a dang plane.
@very-rusty saidFrom my own experience a good marriage can last a lifetime if the two people grow and develop along similar lines. All people grow, change and develop over the decades they are together. Growing apart is a problem What helps that is having similar background, culture religion social status etc.
