It's been two weeks since i ate any obvious processed sugar, or eaten take away food. On January 1st i weighed 100.6 KG. I know i've lost weight, but i made a mental decision not to go near the scales until Feb 1st. I need to get below 90 KG to drop out of the obese category for my BMI.

News outlets ran with a story that today was the day everybody breaks their new years resolution if the haven't already. Our dinner guests brought with them a large cream cake with fruit on the top, jam in the middle, and white chocolate flakes around the side. All the men got drunk (except me), then after clearing the plates away from the main dinner the cake came out. Everybody (even my daughter and wife) expected me to take a piece, and asked me to have some. I declined.

First world problems.

Great effort! Should you try to add exercise in to the mix, too - or is it there already?

I started cycling to work again (10.2 Km each way), and swim twice a week (i can only swim 100 meters at the moment). Once i get this to a regular habit, i plan to go to an MMA gym once a week for a little extra circuit training...but baby steps. The cold snap here killed cycling this week.

I have learned that we should try to lose weight slowly because we usually gain the extra weight slowly and the consistency will give the good results. Good luck.

Working on changing the habits from bad to good, while not being too hard on myself. Thanks.

That seems a very good way to succeed - not making it too difficult or complicated.

I lost 33kg in an hour when I chopped both my legs off.
Unfortunately I am still too heavy for my height which is now 3ft 2ins.

You could've cut off one upper limb, and one lower. That might've turned out to be too expensive though.

You should have cut off something you obviously don't use.

That would get rid of 50 grams only. If we're thinking about the same thing.

You could lose 10kg of ugly fat by chopping your head off!
