I wholeheartedly agree with you.
There are a few decent ones out there, but most get damaged by the job. Trying to engineer a fair deal between Bargain-hunter and Entitled, or Battler and Fatcat must be so hard on the integrity that the decent ones don't last.

It's an occupation being made obsolete by technology anyway.


In the US too. I have bought three houses and sold two. I did all the work except for filing paperwork, for which I paid as generous 6% for them to do.

Apparently there's more to an estate agent than a realtor.

I have never found realtors to be all that in-awe-of-themselves as that.

Then again, maybe it's your point-of-view of them.
