i got lib-dem followed by green, interesting concept. Maybe the vote could be held in this way so rather than voting for parties people answer this type of questions and the winner is decided that way.
If you think that is silly, consider that people who voted for Labour last time seem to have voted against their own views en masse, at least on some issues.
I got Lib Dems marginally ahead of Labour, with a smaller + score for the Greens and negatives for the Tories and UKIP. That's just what I expected, except it put UKIP above the Tories, which is a bit worrying.
I think my Dad's going to be one of those confused voters RC refers to. Listening to his political views, they sound like a Lib Dem manifesto: higher taxes for the rich, abolition of tuition fees, a more active role in Europe, etc. But then when I ask him which party he supports he says things like 'Well I'm going to continue giving the Labour party £10 a month' and 'you just can't trust those Liberals'. 🙄
I have found out I am not eligible to vote - I am not on the register, probably due to my own aversion to dealing with paperwork when it falls through my door.
But, I thought I wouldn’t go down without a fight, and after visiting the council, then speaking to the electoral commission, and then a very
informed gentleman at the Department for Constitutional Affairs, I am out of options.
Would you believe, despite the government’s efforts to get people to vote (large spend on TV advertising) you had to be registered to vote PRIOR to the election being announced? 🙄
I live in quite a marginal seat too…

Not awfully in-depth or anything, but midly entertaining/interesting all the same. I'm in an office full of Lib Dems if the results here were anything to go by.

Russ - I'm sure if you promise to vote labour they will bend the rules for you. Failing that vote by post - they aren't many controls on postal votes.
