A week or so ago there was meant to be a chap, on Sky One, who was going to risk everything he owned on the single spin of a Las Vegas roulette wheel.

When I turned on at the time advertised in the paper it was a totally different programme. Anyone know what happened?

He bet on red and won. I read about it at Yahoo but never saw the TV show.

He sold everything he had and got about 100 grand I guess.. He sold his clothes and EVERYTHING... He rented a Tux I guess and got a ticket to Vegas...

I'm not sure how much money he really had, but whatever it was he doubled it! I was kind of giggling reading the article... the guy said, "I am going to bet it all, and I still have not decided if I am going to take my winnings and go, or let it all ride one more time..."

Imagine that! He ended it with the one spin I guess.

If the story is true??????????-he was a bit of a mug.I mean why bet on an American wheel with a Double Zero.(I very much doubt if this was anything other than a stunt! One thing that a Casino never does is gamble even when the odds are in their favour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Yep, it's true. I watched the whole story on the news. He bet a little over $100,000 and won. He had planned it for several years. It was a big dream of his. The casino was more than happy to have him for the publicity they got. They even comped rooms for him and his family (yes, they were all there). He notified the media mostly to create a keepsake for himself (why buy a camcorder when the local TV station will tape it for you?). So, he won and walked away....

Good for him. The sound of his Titanium balls clanging together precedes him.😏

from what I understand, they plan to record his life for one month after the bet... weather he won or lost.

So I'm not sure where the show is, I don't see it here in the states.

Titanium balls don't cover it my friend. They need to invent a new alloy for this guys' testes. Incredible guts.

he did not realise that in the US there was a double zero, he was hoping to get even the single zero removed but then gets there and finds the double zero as well. he attempted to get that removed but the casino manger just said "over here is the US we like the double zero so it stays".

blue square chucked in 20 grand so long as he changed his name to
Ashley Bluesquare Revell for 3 months. not sure if he did though. i know would have.
