Yes, Dive. And also realize anything 'strange', novel or new runs the certain risk of being questioned,

resisted and/or rejected. Why? Because different has always posed a threat to the sleepy status quo.

Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible.

If the postcard reference represents a non-issue, why take the initiative to question it in the first place? Why resist applying the 'live and let live' principle of simply ignoring it? Why reject passing a minor common sense test by clinging to another subscriber's stylistic point of difference? Why fixate on a slight shift outside the norm, rather than let it go?

Right. It's only "letters, symbols and numbers".

I think you may be thinking of, in the future, writing a book titled something like "Postcards from the Forum"...maybe under a pseudonym like....oh let's say Caligula or the like?

Perhaps a little of both Bobby? I tend to be a fencesitter.

😏

Caliglua was the first name that came to mind with Nero as a close second.

I hope not as I've made reservations at the local hotel for the 24th & 25th.

The "guest list" thusfar sounds like a good group....at least on paper as I've not met any of them but from what I've seen here and from the pictures and comments from last years I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun. Pics and commentary will be coming afterwards if at all like the previous one.

"I guess same sad reason and why you put a [ b] after "postcard"?

You don't look right today, Dive. I'm calling the eye doctor. 'Postcard' footnote

reference becomes bolded only when somebody replies with Reply & Quote.
