Today I heard the most baffling thing today, this girl, who perhaps we must admit was a dumb blonde, who doesn't read newspapers much and as such wouldn't perhaps understand them as regular readers would, but I digress...
She said that she read in the paper, The Independent no less, that referring to your significant other as your girlfriend or boyfriend is politically incorrect, and instead they should be referred to as an 'unpaid sex worker', now as far as I'm concerned, this is far more offensive, as it implies that the only noteworthy aspect in a relationship between two people, is the sexual aspect, but there is (or at least should be) an emotional aspect to relationships, as well as in mere friendships, and this is far more important to me than anything else.

What are your opinions though?

That notion of unpaid sex work is just trash! I'm getting paid baby! 😵

Seriously though of course that there is a lot more to a relationship than just having sex. Disregard ha bogus notion and just your friend be wrong for the time being. When she falls in love she'll understand.

That's the thing though, I think I can be fairly certain that this girl HAS fallen in love before, I on the other hand have not. 😵

I think she was just being dumb, she tried correctioning the teacher in class when he said bf/gf, saying it was not PC, because she thought she knew what she was on about.
Why do people believe everything they read in the papers?! Can't people form their own opinions? 😕

In my view the idea of having sex with with anyone with whom there is no emotional bond would be tantamount to using a human being as a masturbation device. That's travelling a road to nowhere.

1. I don't have a gf.

2. I've had people offering themselves to me, but that makes me feel all sad. 🙁

3. Socks are for wearing on my feet, not elsewhere.

"unpaid sex worker"? that pre-supposes that the 2 are having sex.

I dont really 'know' them, as such, but just see their deconstructive posts and think what a waste of space they are.
