Here's another one ....'Smaug'
It's an old Sicilian word meaning cretin..... incorparated in England during the Roman occupation. The Sicilians were particulary cruel in comparison to to other Italian Roman soldiers and the oppressed Brit's favourite retort was 'You Sicilian Smaug'......strange but true
