Bowmann's got this kick that the current form of British English is the only correct form. For some reason American English is not "correct" to him; I suppose the same would be true of Old or Middle English.

Not a terrific lateral thinker. Have you ever read his responses in the Help forum to the question "How do I Castle"?

His responses shed a very bright light on his understanding of the actual question.

originally it meant someone who was guilty as in there conscience was marauding them....strange but true!

Can you believe it ? The word Marauder in the northern most tips of Vietnam means 'arsehole'...When the yanks were there in the 60's and 70's there was a mishmash of English and Vietnamese, and the Vietnemese used to say to the yanks withouth the yanks knowing what it meant ..you No1 marauder....Srange but true
