Sir Freak, an overgeneralization from you? Sometimes (the Latin interruptus) half in/half out applies.

Only as it applies to temporary toleration, I suppose.

You're reading my mind. Toleration solves an awfully high percentage of the divisive issues of mankind.

1. Is it ok to use people's real names if they never did in the forum? By using people's names in the forums I am teaching them not to reveal personal info to strangers online. I may only use the name, but the next person may stalk them out and rape them with a bishop. So really, I am doing them a favour. (Because I care!)

2. Is it ok to tell other people real names if they shared it with you through a PM or Private Forum? See 1

3. Is it ok to insult people based on their occupation or location in the public forums if they shared that info in a PM or Private Forum? Insulting Americans is a fundamental right of anyone not living in the USofA.

4. Is it ok to make fun of someone's clothes based on assumptions when you don't know their real name, location, or occupation? We all know you wear boots that completely clash with your tutu. It's not an "assumption".

5. Is it ok to create several threads as 'experiments' for a community you are (are?) part of trying to solve the problems you perceive with said social group? To answer this question I must first create some threads as an experiment to determine the overall community reaction. I will then analyze my findings and present them in yet another thread...I don't want to promise anything yet, but there may be graphs!

6. Is it ok to pay more attention to your own threads rather than participate in all threads available to you? My threads are the only ones worth paying attention to.

7. Do your own threads interest you more than the threads made by others? See 6

8. When you create a thread and no one responds do you bump it with a suddenly found 'after thought'? Yes, I am the thing that goes BUMB in the night.

9. When someone doesn't agree with you, do you suddenly change your mind about them? ("I thought you were better than that, now I know better" ). I reserve the right to hate anyone who does not agree that Oscar Wilde was an exceptional author.

10. Do you feel when people have a problem with your behavior it's actually the other person who's got the problem? Very Rusty thinks there is a problem with my behaviour...need I say more?

11. When a user here at RHP makes it clear they'd rather not associate with you, do you flock to their threads and posts to respond time and time again? Absolutely. I may not be able to make them like me, but I can stalk them through the forums till they panic and give in.

12. When you PM message users, do you ask them lots of personal info? Only the basics like name, age, deep dark secrets that can be used as blackmail material...

13. When you admit you made a mistake or forgot a point, do you blame it on old age or health condition? Of course not...I blame it on others.

Did I pass?

Is it ok to use people's real names if they never did in the forum?

(I only know a few people here and seldom post, I would never use a real name even in a message.)

Is it ok to tell other people real names if they shared it with you through a PM or Private Forum?

(I believe you meant "people's" the possessive form, sorry I only answer intelligible questions)

Is it ok to insult people based on their occupation or location in the public forums if they shared that info in a PM or Private Forum?

(Why would one insult people just to insult them? Why not use it as constructive criticism?)

Is it ok to make fun of someone's clothes based on assumptions when you don't know their real name, location, or occupation?

(I only answer a question one time.)

Is it ok to create several threads as 'experiments' for a community you are (are?) part of trying to solve the problems you perceive with said social group?

(I don't create threads, or at least I have not done so in public.)

Is it ok to pay more attention to your own threads rather than participate in all threads available to you?

(Again, I refer back to my reply about redundant questions.)

Do your own threads interest you more than the threads made by others?

(I enjoy reading much more than typing replies.)

When you create a thread and no one responds do you bump it with a suddenly found 'after thought'?

(I believe this is where I should say, "Jesus wept." )

When someone doesn't agree with you, do you suddenly change your mind about them? ("I thought you were better than that, now I know better" ).

(If someone disagrees with me, I am fine with it.)

Do you feel when people have a problem with your behavior it's actually the other person who's got the problem?

(Perhaps they have a point, I misbehave so often.)

When a user here at RHP makes it clear they'd rather not associate with you, do you flock to their threads and posts to respond time and time again?

(I would give them their space.)

When you PM message users, do you ask them lots of personal info?

(No, I don't care to know anything other than what they would like to share.)

When you admit you made a mistake or forgot a point, do you blame it on old age or health condition?

(My being older than dirt has not helped my memory.)

Yup. Helpful insights from Tim, Phil and others. Sort of wasteful

to serve the whole pie... better to serve one wedge at a time.

Let me stop you right there.

Peoples names. Plural, not possessive. Why assume I'm using the possessive?

1 plural : human beings making up a group or assembly or linked by a common interest
