The UK billion used to have 12 zeroes, but now the UK seems to have adopted the US billion to avoid confusion.
Good on them, then.

Now maybe they can drive on the correct side of the road and, for the love of God, call it math.

A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon we're talking real money.

More to acknowledge the fact that they've been counter-colonised (oh, sorry, official spellimafacation (o.sp!) these days is "colonizzed"😉. Also to allay their fear of the continent.

Whether or not it is 12 or 9 zeros, 76 bucks per rat is a lot of money. There's quite a few Mexicans that could be helped out with that, or are they the rats it's being spent on? 😛

Owner: [sweeping a bunch of toads out] Get out, get out! Shoo, shoo.
Get out of here, yuck! These bloody things are everywhere.
They're in the lift, in the lorry, in the bond wizard, and all
over the malonga gilderchuck.

Clerk: They're like kangaroos, but they're reptiles, they is.

Marge: We have them in America. They're called bullfrogs.

Clerk: What? That's an odd name. I'd have called them "chazzwazzers".

A pool is called "basseng" here, and a shooting stick is called "rifle".

Hey, would you mind taking your serious matter-of-fact attitude elsewhere? The lady and I are trying to make jokes here.
