I know the result, but I also know that some folks taped the game
and are watching it as I write, so I won't spoil it. But once everyone
has seen it, can you do me a favor and tell me all about it? I
currently have neither TV nor VCR, so I feel like I'm living in a cave.
Thanks.

It was a pretty good game.Realistically, the US could have been up 2-
0 maybe even 3-0 except for some outstanding goalkeeping by Oliver
Kahn. The goal was a beauty header that was the Germans first go on
goal!...that really hurt the Americans heart, but they rebounded for
some good play. But the German arial attack was just too much for the
US.They gave up way too many free kicks around the box. They did
pretty well keeping themselves in the game.A couple of really good
chances at the end.
There was some controversy as the Americans had thought the ball
had crossed the line.It turned out it had not..but..the German
defender had committed handball in keeping the ball out..but it was
missed. Not too much whining from the US players. They showed good
sportsmanship on that.
The game did get a tad chippy at the end.
Landon Donovan looks to be an outstanding young player. He may get
some overseas offers for big bucks.
