Using a plunger... on my ear

Ok a week ago I was coming back from spain. On the plane I woke up and my ear my really sore. Now 10 days later it is still sore and green stuff came out of it. I think I need to use a plunger to make it pop.

So is it safe to use a plunger on your ear? Does it hurt? Has anyone ever done it before?

You might want to go to a doctor, especially if you wibble wobble while you walk.

You'll probably end up bursting your eardrum.

Go to a doctor, fool.

I didn't realise it was such a dangerous past time!

It'll only mike things worse. You'd have to ask Santa for a new ear drum.

It could also affect his vision and then he will end up with less than xx2020 vision.

I recently had (almost) the same thing happen, sans the "green stuff."

My eardrum ruptured a month after the flight, without warning (inner ear infection.)

You'd better go to the doctor for an antibiotic prescription or shot, and sooner than later. The rupturing is comparable painwise to 22 hours of hard labor, stuffed into about an hour of torture.

Only use a plunger if you are desperate. I have read multiple accounts of this sort of thing, and the green liquid can cause a painful, solid scum.

You are probably afflicted with a large ear pimple... take a knitting needle, heat up the end with a lighter or on the stove and jab it into your ear until the pain subsides.

Edit: Missed Frank Burn's post... great minds think alike and consider my recommendation a second opinion... jab away.
