I was playing game 216523 and aurun78 lost his queen. The player then made one move every 7 days waiting for me to go on vacation and then claimed the game.
The claim when on vacation makes a joke of the competitions.

I would recommend an extensive regime of taunting him and beating him at chess.

Sorry, but if it was a tournament game, you can't take vacations... TO's are automatic.

Thanks little bear. So this means you can never go on vacation when in a tournament. That sucks.

you can take vacations just ones within the timeout period of the game , just like timmytoilet😛

you dont get it the guy deliberately held back knowing he could time him out even if he was on vacation, the game might have been able to be finished beffore his vacation if the player in question moved at every opportunity.

if i were you i would get as many people as you can to boycot him, you were clearly outclasing him so move on to the next level of player.

At the end of the day there is not much you can do about it. Probably the worst thing you can do is care. If someone wants to win that bad, well let them and you take the moral victory. You know you would have won in yourself and that is far more important than anything else.

aurun78 just used a loop hole and expolited it to victory. No one ever said life was fair :-)

Andrew,

there is no point attacking or boycotting aurun78 for it as he has done nothing technically wrong, he has used the rules to his advantage to win a game he would not have done normally. Just make sure if you are playing him and the TO is there, take it regardless of vacation setting. What comes around goes around.

Right attitude though, just move on and forget about it as there is plenty of fun to be had here without things like this.
