Vacation flags are a psychological tool, used by players to wind up their opponents. If you put up a vacation flag, then let your games go to within a few minutes of the timeout before moving, it doesn't half p;ss off the other player. Sometimes, you can add more enjoyment to this device by actually letting your timebank dwindle to a few minutes, and then make ...[text shortened]... nd Good Citizens), please click the link below:

take me for example i am quite happy just playing the 6 games and dont really have time to play any more, so why would i want to pay the subscription fee whilst i am happy playing how i am

But if someone starts a game with someone, challenges them or accepts a challenge, they set and accepted the game parameters, so they don't have any reason to complain if their opponent moves within those same parameters that they set...
The timeout and timebank limits are there to determine how long a player is allowed to think and decide before making a move. Just because someone moves more often than the minimum number of moves within the time limits, or before a skull appears, or even after it appears if it isn't taken by his opponent, doesn't mean that if he lets those limits nearly expire that he's somehow doing something wrong. As you yourself have pointed out, sometimes 6 games is the most that a player can handle, so they need a long time to think about moves. I myself have games against people which are very close to the 14- and 28-day timeout limit, and some have even let their timebank disappear almost completely, but they've moved in the past 3 days in different games. If I see a skull on those games, I'll take it. Vacation flag flying top, half mast or not at all, I'll take the skull because they are ignoring my game.
Another important point I should make is that I don't deliberately p;ss people of by playing the way that I described. But some people do, as I have demonstrated above and in my previous post in this thread.
Rule 1: Take skulls if you're not happy with the speed at which the game is being played.
Rule 2: Don't complain if someone moves too fast for the skull to appear.
And where should I take you, child?
Or do you mean "take me" in another sense? Are you old enough?
