I'm playing a guy that keep the vacation sign on all the time, but I can see he is online, but very rarely moves....I think he is taking the piss !!!

Is it bad form to claim the win as his time clock is about to run out.

How long has he been doing this? If it's only for a short time, he may have found some way to play a few games while he's on vacation. Is there a vacation message?

You're always free to time someone out, even if their vacation flag is up. You just have to decide if you want to. If you think he's abusing it, then go ahead.

Sometimes when I have a difficult position, I'll go ahead and make moves in the easy games and not move in the tough ones. I never let my flag fall though (time) and tell everyone I'll usually claim a win if they let their time run out.

exactly. I just moved in all of my games waiting (51), but more than half of them had the timebank running. That wasn't because of lack of time, it was more a lack of motivation in combination of not knowing what moves to make. How long is the timebank and timeout in your game?

WOW! You're playing 51 games at once! 😲

I assume the question about the time bank was meant for RSMA1234?
I prefer times of 3/7 for my games.

Not timing out when there's a vacation sign is a matter of courtesy, not obligation (moral or otherwise). I Don't time out until I've sent a reminder and waited a few days.

The timebank is 14 days and the move timout 3 days.

The player has been doing this for a number of weeks now, thats why I don't think he is on hoilday.

That is funny! He says he has been ill for a couple of days as in the past tense. Why put a vacation flag afterwards????
