Are the stores in your area stocking up with the Valentine's Day stuff? And where do you live? I'm trying to figure out what regions are more serious about celebrating Valentine's Day. I live in New Hampshire, and I haven't noticed any signs of VD (intentional) yet.

My mom said that the Valentines Day candies are on sale...all the stores are in Valentines mode, she says. We're in Los Angeles.

In Chicago, if it doesn't snow, they're planning to reenact the massacre.

I've seen lots of stores putting out VD stuff as they took down the Christmas stuff. I think I'll hide until the 15th.

Why? Are you worried about being sold as VD stuff?

The best cure for VD (intentional) is abstention. 😴

There's an idea! Why didn't I think of that? I'll just tie a red ribbon on myself and stand in a WalMart aisle!

Noooo, it's just not exactly one of my favorite "holidays".

Come to Norway or Germany. Not much happening here, although the flower shops have found out a long time ago that it's a useful day.

It's more than just a holiday here. It's Blondies b-day 😀

So it takes the focus off of the obvious. 😉

Now, now! Be nice to our Arkyfriend! He's giving you a month's notice to get your wife something nice. Getting her a six-pack at the gas station on the way home from work isn't a good plan. Well, unless she's into that sort of touching gesture of love and devotion.

I can teach her the seven times tables to Happy Birthday! And the Seven Continents song! And the Seven Sacraments to the tune of Jingle Bells! Golly gee what fun!
