Was he banned for cheating...I've played this person 74 times (and lost 74 times) and all the tournaments he's messed up

Ditto. Would be "interesting" to know why? It would have to have been something serious as the admins seem to be somewhat tolerant of some shenanigans or at least suspend for a time those who "bend" the rules.

All of his recent forum posts seem to have disappeared, too. There were lots of them. More than 300 games were prematurely ended by the system.

He regularly posted games and tournaments in which he took part, so I really think he is a strong plaer in the real world.
He is a very bitter person however and often knew no bpoundaries in his postings. He had several froum bans due to that. I would expect that he crossed some line about something he saw as injust...
