How do I check that? I only use IE for Flash, because Maxthon won't recognize the plug-in (😛), and everything on desktop opens in Maxthon...I'm 99% sure it's the default browser.
Goto Control Panel->Folder Options->File Types and check for file extensions still associated with IE. I'm not sure which one is the magic one as I'm still using IE myself. The best I can suggest is change anything still associated IE. Let me know if that works.

No problem. Kudos to johnbart for writing this nice little program. It's a shame he has to defend himself against unfounded accusations.

[edit: Now I'm hoping for a combination of this tool and Russ's recent RHP tracker. A program that pops up whenever something changes in the number games I have waiting]
I'm going to be requesting a number of new data points to be exposed by Russ so I can offer that kind of feature. Stay tuned 🙂

That can be solved by checking the 'Enable multiple browsers to be logged into the same account' box in 'my site settings'.

Aaaah... I didn't know about that one.

Hey, there's probably a newer thread than this one... but hey, I found this one so it'll do...

Just tried using this with Vista Business Edition and IE7, no joy - it just says 'error contacting website'.

Any plans to migrate this to Vista/IE7 john?

I only ask cos its such a darn useful tool. 🙂

Cheers,

Mark

Well you have to know that dude is a major conspiracy theorist, he sent me a 911 conspiracy DVD that tries to prove the building was bombed by the US government in cahoots with Bin Laden and so forth. He has a bunch of those things going so naturally he will look at the underside of everything he sees. I am suprised he is on the net at all for fear of getting cooties.

Not a bad idea, though I haven't tried it. How long before some dude makes a google gadgety thingy with RHP?
