Can you damage your eyes from looking at photographs of the sun? I have some great photos, but am afraid to look at them cause your retina don't have any pain receptors, so I wouldn't know if I was causing damage or not.

Also, at what temperature is it too cold to start a fire?

People need to know.

Never look at photographs of the sun, or at photographs in general! I speak from experience. My sight was fine when I was a child. Now I am very short-sighted. I wish I had never looked at photographs. :'(

If you were male the obvious conclusion to draw would be that you were looking at...ahem...*candid* photographs...the associated activities can damage one's eyesight...allegedly.
