Apparently, today is the 20th anniversary of MTV.
Who knew?
They did a retrospective on MTV on the NBC nightly news. They talked about some of the major moments in MTV history: Jackass, Beavis and Butthead, the Real World.
They actually said that there was a name for the angst ridden kids who grew up during this time: The MTV Generation.
I understand that my buddy Bam is s spinoff from the Jackasses. Sort of like Laverne & Shirley?
In any event, I don't want to impugn the young. I think it's unfair to label a whole generation. I say it's just youth being youth.
But it did fascinate me since it related so much with my last thread about being too old.
