failing a physics exam just means that you refuse to let your imagination be constrained by something so arbitary and contingent as the mere laws of the universe. well done! if that doesn't work for you, i also do a nice line in 'there's always next time' and also, 'if you never fail, it means you are not challenging yourself'. hope one of these works...
but seriously, it's not the end of the world. just take the exam again if that's what you want, or if you have discovered that physics isn't for you, go on and be good at something else...😉
What did you expect to get? If you seriously screwed it up and you were hoping for an A or B then comiserations, what went wrong? If you were realistically going for E or D then it's okay isn't it? Either way, don't worry about it too much, no-one cares about 16 yr old exam grades by the time your 21 🙂
Originally posted by Starrmanhehe lol probably true. See, the thing was that I basically understood the stuff, only I couldn't get it right in the exam. I thought it was going really well, but when I talked to the other people afterwards, I noticed they all had different answers than me 🙁 but at least I was warned 😛

Actually, this whole matter is very serious!!
When I've had to employ people in the past, the FIRST thing I've looked for is the Physics mark they attained at age 16. Other important documents I've been looking for is if they were on a school traffic patrol, and at what age they could perform a racing start in their swimming lessons.
My own mark for Physics when I was your age was 18 out of 100. I suspect it would've been higher if internal assessment hadn't been used. I think I would have been considered one of the Greats on School Patrol, as I've always been proficient at holding a (traffic) cone. Unfortunately most of the other kids were in class when I rolled up at 9.15. I've yet to perfect the racing start, but I can report that it's easier to win swimming races by simply running alongside the pool.
Essentially, if like me you don't really have what it takes to be an employee, you may have to end up being an employer. At least now I've given you a headstart as to what you should be looking for in potential staff.
