This must be the umpteenth time they have released a CD version, but this one includes Covers. Wow. But they actually sound pretty good - here's a sample of the Eve of War.

BTW for ignorants/non-subs - War of the Worlds was a better movie before Tom Cruise, and also a musical. Which was waaaaay better than anything else. It even had a dance mix in the late 70s.

The musical is the only version of it I think is worth enduring personally.

I had my neighbour's son go as my proxy to watch the Cruise version.

Also, fair warning, bud: Don't buy the new Sin City DVD. There's like no extras on it at all. Hold out for the better version.

Yeah, I was talking about the visual media versions. The book goes without saying, though I would have loved to have heard Orson Welles' radio version. Apparently some hicks thought it was the real thing and it caused public outcry at the time.

There's plenty of recordings of it, not impossible to find. And it was more than just hicks who thought it was real... Read an article on the whole thing about a year or so ago, it really kicked up some chaos, lol. Good ol' Orson...

There is a downloadable version online somewhere.

That new war of the worlds movie was the biggest piece of crap I've watched in some time.

Duece Bigalow: European Gigalo is now out. I recommend you catch up on your crappy movies. Schneider makes Tom Cruise look like Brando.
