This must be the umpteenth time they have released a CD version, but this one includes Covers. Wow. But they actually sound pretty good - here's a sample of the Eve of War.
BTW for ignorants/non-subs - War of the Worlds was a better movie before Tom Cruise, and also a musical. Which was waaaaay better than anything else. It even had a dance mix in the late 70s.

Yeah, I was talking about the visual media versions. The book goes without saying, though I would have loved to have heard Orson Welles' radio version. Apparently some hicks thought it was the real thing and it caused public outcry at the time.
