When I was young (many years ago), I read an article which basically said that if the 'criminals' of the world put the same amount of energy and mental effort into a legitimate business as opposed to putting it into less desirable methods of gaining an income, they would probably be very succesful.
As a Professor in human psychological behavior, a Doctor in human psychology and a Master in bullshit, maybe.....................................................................................................................................
Maybe we should have a RHP counselling service to 'help' those who feel a need to spam, offend, abuse, insult etc.
Maybe we should have a RHP counselling service to provide support for those members from broken homes.
Maybe we should have a RHP counselling service to provide age-differential counselling for 'mature' players who have difficulty in playing a game against a 'young' plyer.
Maybe we should have a RHP counselling service that supports the metally incapacitated who have have trouble understanding the rules of chess.
Maybe we should have a RHP counselling service that 'helps' and offers financial assistance to the 'challenged' players who join the site.
Maybe we should have a counselling service to provide psychiatric support for those who join the site and then find that they should have joined the 'checkers' site.
Maybe we should provide counselling for the people who have the urge to post aggressive or abusive posts in the forums.
Maybe we should have a counselling forum.
Maybe we should ALL be a little bit more sympathetic to our mentally challenged members who don't understand.
Maybe we should be a bit more sympathetic to the poor disadvantaged who are lonely and miserable who seek company by joining a site like RHP.
Maybe life is hard and any one of us may feel hurt, or bitter, or angry.
It's up to the rest of us - the 'familly' of RHP to help and support these poor lost souls.
Life is about compassion, helping, nurturing, supporting and simply just being there.

Maybe we should simply IGNORE the pathetic morons who make posts that offend and get on with playing chess.

I have had people challenge me to games who want to "talk." I don't do therapy, but sometimes the talk and commoraderie is enough. There is nothing like a friendly game where two people can learn more about one another. Of course I know some just want to play chess and that is OK. And send that game on over. 😉 KIrk
