Wat does it mean?

How can an equitable devision be a problem? ..

i dont know much on the subject, but ive been told the system is easily effected by corruption due to the lack of legislation.

😲 Why is it called equitable then? 😕

because the basic theory is that both man and wife will get an equal share of things based on length of marriage, income, children and so on. but each case is is judged separately with no overall law on how much a person should get, so if its a woman/man hating judge the award could be biased.
like i say im no expert just recalling what somebody told me a few weeks ago. so i could be way off the mark.
