It is quite simple: the UK joined the EU to anger de Gaulle who did everything to keep them out. Now when everyone liked them to stay in they have to be contrary and leave.

WOW.......That was a very close game between Italy and England.

Right down to a shoot out, really was anyone's game, tough fought I watched all the 2nd half, and shoot out of course. People seem to have a lot of passion for the game.
I saw tears on both sides afterwards.

England started the better team, scored and looked quite comfortable but didn’t create much, second half Italy took complete control, had a few half chances and scored a lucky goal from a corner, deserved it in the end. Awful pens.
