Interesting people often cross lines, it comes with the territory. The ones who take some time out deciding where the line is and what is stepping too far over are more interesting again. I respect people who do that, but not people who withdraw themselves because they feel completely in the right and completely wronged by others. Who knows which one Dive is? Maybe neither and this is some completely different story. Who knows who anybody really is here?

Yea, it would be silly to lose sleep over anything said in here. I might see if it was someone you felt you had made a friendship with, but it just wouldn't be me for sure that would lose any sleep over it.

Perhaps if you could encourage your friend to occupy himself with more wholesome activities outside of RHP (as you seem to) there might someday be an opportunity for him to have a fresh start here among us who have seen a different side of your friend than you have.

Thing is, I have a good life, and probably a better life than I deserve, love, friendship, good health (so far...) the whole thing, so against that backdrop I find it hard to get growly with people on chess forums or bear grudges. Mister Divegeester, the subject of this particular discussion, and I have differences of opinion on certain matters, but these are only certain matters, and friendship for me knocks all of that into a cocked hat, as the saying goes; once I'm your friend you've got me for life, and I'll endure the slings and arrows of red thumbs 'til the cows come home. (I notice you get quite a few of those yourself) Stay cool, brother.
