@divegeester saidElvis ... when he was alive ... is he dead? Well Elvis Costello is.
Peanut butter and jam sandwiches.
Who eats that!
@karoly-aczel saidSliced onions, spuds, garlic,1 tin corned beef,2 tins chicken soup, casserole for 2 hrs lid on , half hour lid off de-lish
I'm having hash browns with corned beef and a bit of bbq sauce.
And I gotta say... its pretty good.
@karoly-aczel saidNo, it looks completely different. It has become a favourite with vegetarians and vegans because it has a fibrous texture like meat and can absorb different flavours. I haven’t tried it myself or come across it in the shops.

@drewnogal saidYes it's similar to durian, well it looks and smells similar but the taste wasnt as strong.

@drewnogal saidWhen it's ripe here it's eaten as a fruit and when it's still "young", it's eaten as a vegetable - usually cooked in vegetable milk. I'd say I eat nangka (jackfruit) about three times a week with rice. It is tender. I eat it as a fruit once a week. Interesting taste: slightly reminiscent of bubble gum - but not in a bad way. It is a wee bit chewy.
