Where does it say the knife was "rusty"...or that he "walked" for two miles?

He got pinned by a falling tree? Can't picture that one but I woulda just tapped out instead of cutting off my leg.

It doesn't even say he travelled those two miles at all, it was his neighbour who did.

And why did he wait until after he cut his leg off before calling for help? He was rescued because his neighbor heard him yelling, not because he cut off his leg.

Well, he was probably under shock, which affects reasoning skills. Besides, we don't know if he hasn't tried calling for help right away; maybe the neighbour only heard him after a while.

Actually, I just read a different version. Apparently, he didn't call for help right away because he was busy fighting ninjas.

Just saw it on the news here... Amazing! He fought off three ninjas, and later when he had called the neighbour for help, he decided he didn't want to wait so long for him to return, so he walked the 15 miles to the hospital on his hands. They showed some video footage (or handage?).

When I cut MY leg off I had to 'walk' 2 miles uphill both ways to and from the hospital.

Edit! I also had to fight 3 Ninjas and a Samurai... but didn't think it worth mentioning.

Never let the truth stand in the way of a good story. He also played 5 games of chess on red hot pawn while he walked those two miles, and won all of them in under 10 moves. Blindfolded.

2 questions immediately spring to mind.

1. Why didn't he use the thing he cut the tree with in the first place ??? (it was HIM that chopped the tree down)
2. Why didn't he use the knifes to dig the ground underneath him ?


This is exactly why Grandad doesn't get the remote control for the T.V 😛
