Allow me to start.

1) Don’t allow your imagination to create false ideas of the people you are interacting with on the internet; People on here are the people who exist in non-Internet life, except it is harder to avoid those you would not normally interact with (the decent and the not so decent) when posting in a forum.

its best to keep your passwords simple like: abc123. also, be sure and store your social security number, credit card numbers and mothers maiden name on your home page for safe keeping. many people find it convenient to go ahead and include them in their profile, if all that seems too hard, just pm me with the info, and I'll hold onto them for you.

cheers!

That should go under subsection K3 appendix-F: Using a forum.

"New internet users" very rarely post on forums. They google maps and plumbers and instant message with their friends and do things specific to their profession. Not forums. That only comes after time.

Hang on, you aint been here long enough to enjoy the many levels that is Grampy Bobby, when you see more senior posters (who have suffered to earn the right) having a dig, don't go thinking a little pisshand like yourself can join in.

Just because you have paid up some cash doesn't automatically give you the right to join the pack of rabid dogs.

Typical new sub behaviour.

If you are a female. Definitely do not use a female internet name and profile, and most important, do not post an attractive picture of yourself.

Ah! the old "I have been here longer then you and have more authority than you"-ploy.

Which part of the setup of a forum where you can read BACK in older topics don't you understand?

I dunno. People thought I was a buffoon when I first started posting here nearly five years ago, too.
