What app to play chess with faraway grandchild?

General

I would like to have an app that my grandchild and I can use to play chess as we do here on RHP. Simpler the better. Any suggestions? Thank you.

As these are kids, is it OK as far as any commentary within the boundaries of their access that might not be appropriate? If that is OK, I thank you verymuch.

I don't use apps. so wouldn't be able to answer questions regarding commentary. - Good Luck

Thanks, still looking for an app on Iphone, these kids do not use computers I am told. All apps. Life is hard...

Given the kind of drivel you're so fond of posting here, I can understand why you don't want your grandchildren to play on this site. Introduce the kid to a kids' chess site and let him enjoy playing with other kids. Of course you can't play there yourself because any adult hanging around a kids' site could have bad intentions ...

First, find out what operating system the grandchild's phone uses. The two most common are android and Apple. That tells you where to look for an app which will connect you two: either Google's app store or Apple's app store.

You libs just cannot resist being personal. And irrelevant.
The question was to possibly find a safe app or Website that my grandkids could enjoy. Whew. You tell me, duh, to introduce my child (libs say kid) to a chess site. Hadn't thought of that. πŸ€”

It is in General Forum, so I could have made a bad decision. Thought it was a general question.
