Just about everything is free and not free. Just to be alive is my best pleasure. One of my childhood friends died 13 years ago, she doesn't come up in conversation much- well at all really- because what is there to say? But I do think of her, I'm sure we all do (the friends who knew her) and when I do I feel sad for all that she's missed, her boy was about 2 when she died, so he's about to start his last year of senior school - or maybe he's just finished it. She's missed all that- the whole school thing and all for something so tiny and insignificant.

Watching the sun rise on Easter morning

Dogs playing outside

My mom's cornbread, fresh from the oven

Giving a hug to a friend when they are feeling down
revelling in their misery
Watching the sun rise on Easter morning
and pretending its special

2. climbing mountains and going skinny dipping on summer days
3. watching my wife do her makeup in the mirror
4. getting a massage from Mrs Robbie after a day working outside in Scottish winter
