I've been trying a few lately, trying to get one that works well with RHP and I have decided that Netscape 7.1 is the one for me. So I was wondering if anyone had any better suggestion for a browser?

Nope Netscape 7.1 tends to do it for me, unless I have to be in an internet cafe and then I have to put up with IE.

You should try IE6 😀 I gather you don't use Windows? Then Netscape 7 is indeed the best I have encountered.

Nope i'm using Windows. But I find that the pages load faster in Netscape and you get cool tabs that kinda group everything together. Keeps things organised.

Tabs are cool, when using IE6 I have to have a lot of windows open at once.

Bill Gates told me IE is the best.

Drop Netscape - Netsape is finished. Get Firebird, the new Mozilla browser. It has tabs, IE like support, and it isn't Microsoft.

[After just checking for a link, it turns out it has changed names to Firefox during the latest update.]

gavin,

mozilla (open source netscape) should be faster than netscape anywhere
firefox is a speedier mozilla

i use opera which is the fastest of the full browsers though if you want to not see the ads you have to register (i did, even though the ads weren't really annoying)

if you want blinding speed and can do without features give dillo a try - it won't work everywhere though

in friendship,
prad

I use opera, never had a problem with it, which is more than I can say for IE. Netscape just reminds me of being back at university - are universities the only people to use Netscape these days on a commercial basis?
