Who are you addressing, Rags? I am the one searching for a digi camera, not uzless.
So, in your opinion, what's the best value for something 250 Eur tops?

Fine gnetlemen, I thank you all for your help. Moments like this make this website a wonderful place to understand more and learn.
I went for Rags knowledge and got myself a Canon IXUS 95 IS. I was about to get the 100 one, but I realized that I really don't need to take video with HD quality... for 50 EUR more! 🙂 If I want to take video, then I get a videocamera.
I can say so far I am very happy with it, and the red eye stuff, the face identification, the rapidly chargeable battery, and the "crisp" in the photos when I check them in the computer, really make it for me.
Now, let's see how it behaves under the heavy use of the summer holidays!
Thanks again to all.
