Ooh, I'm all for it! I think we should get rid of all those messy "real" trees and set up vast pine forests of artificial Christmas trees. Now THAT would be a real growth industry, not like this logging business. In fact, if you really want to get rid of illegal logging then just get rid of all those darn trees once and for all. If there aren't any trees, then there can't be any illegal logging. Problem solved! 🙄

Vast forests would be replanted...albeit with artificial trees. But I'm sure they could make 'em nearly as good as the old ones.
