The term gay has nothing do to with being homosexual if it is used as an insult.
I coined the phrase many years ago to describe my brother (who now has two kids), when he flapped his hands and screamed like a girl.

Being gay means you are a:

Caring
Understanding
Nice
Sensible (when you are not out with your girlie mates)

sort of person.

A gay only gets stuck in when handbags are used as weapons.

I am indeed semi-gay myself.

Means he probably is gay. (Just doesn't know it, probably doesnt even know what it means.)

Nothing. Saying "gay" is "cool". I assume all his friends say it too. Just ignore it...
