I was named after the guy who shot John Lennon

Combining my first and last name means: Eldest heavenly messenger

I grew up in the deep South near Chattanooga in the 1950's. There was a tradition in that age to name children after characters from the Bible. My first name is John, I have a brother David, an aunt Ruth, an uncle Joseph, an uncle Thomas, etc. Most of us are proud of our names from the Bible..........
