the cent symbol on the keyboard? I swear it was there 5 years ago. Is this a sign of the times? The end of the penny is near.

I wonder if it's on Swedish keyboards. I mean we have all kinds of keys
we'd never use. What's it look like?

I found it on the "sign table" or whatever it may be called in English. But you can also type it yourself, using Alt+0162.

Yes, we have the ¤ on the Norwegian keyboard, too. It may be useless (I didn't even know what it was), but it looks nice.

I've been told that when you write a paper of sorts and you make an
example where the currency per se is not important, you use that sign. I've
always called it the sun sign. If I'm really unhappy about my programming I
sometimes add it to a comment just to cheer me up a bit. 😏
