Anyone know about it? If so, how do you get it?
Here at work I have a Radeon 7000. It gives me an extra 64 Mghz of video ram, and lets me use 2 monitors on my machine since I already had an intergrated graphics card.
At home I've got a better one with 128 Mghz. I think it's an NVidia 4.
Many 3-d games need some kind of hardware graphics acceleration to run. I bought one when I got Never Winter Nights... and got the better one about 2 months later to run GTAIII. So if you get one, get a good one! Perhaps some Guru will come along and tell you what the best ones are on the market now.
Don't spend less than a couple hundred on one, or you will get what you pay for.

Oops... Mb's it is. Not sure what I was thinking.
Here at home is the Verto GeForce MX420... It is now junk, but it was ok when I got it for the price.
I thought it had more Mb ram, but it is only 64. Believe it or not even RHP avatars look better from home than they do at work with my old crap card.
So why are you looking into graphic cards, Chelsea Fan?
