8 legged freaks was brilliant.
It's not a good movie. The acting is bad. The dialogue is bad. The interaction is bad. The plot is bad. The story line is bad.
And with so much badness going on, it's just plain great!
If you like movies like Arachnaphobia, Anaconda, Congo, plan 9 from outer space and every other monster movie horror slash comedy...you'll like this.

My favourite movies are:

1. Star Wars: a new hope
2. The big Lebowski
3. Pulp fiction

The worst films I've ever seen are:
1. The father of the bride part 2
2. The bridges of Ma..ma...maa God knows what it's called. It stars Clint Eastwood though
3. Love actually

Actually, I only added "love actually" because it was written by a comic genius (who co-wrote such greats as Black Adder) who now deserves to be stuck in a pit with Steve Martin for the rest of eternity.

Which isn't altogether fair on Martin who did make: "The man with two brains" which is a classic, along the lines of monster movie slash comedy films. As classic as they get.

And since we're on the matter:

Best actor:
Johnny Depp (by far). Pirates of the Carribbean, one of the most mediocre films ever produced was brilliant, due only to Depp. And every other work he does should be worshiped like the holy grail too.

Best actress:
Kate Winslet. Why? Because:
a. She's the most beautiful woman alive
b. The Dutch word for slut is slet. And she's got it in her name.
c. She gets her tits out for the lads....EVERY SINGLE MOVIE

Worst actor:
Tom Hanks. Although, since the Coen brothers have decided to use him in a film, I may have to change my mind on this. BUT, since I've not seen the latest C B film yet, my opinion is such: Yes, the Burbs is one of the greatest films ever. BUT after that Tom Hanks should have been shot. And believe me, I weep every film he doesn't die in.
I left the cinema when he survived Omaha beach in Saving private Ryan. (or whatever beach it was...you get the picture).

Worst actress:
This is probably the most difficult catagory. There are so many crappy female actresses out there. It's not their fault though! It's the fault of men. M.E.N. Yes. Men want to see attractive, young women with big breasts...alas, most of them would be better off topless on a beach than on the big screen...
I've just been to see the lastest Lara Croft film. It wasn't about Lara Croft, but I just don't know the girl's name. The only redeeming feature of the film? She gets her tits out for the lads. And believe me. Kate's are fuller.
But, since it's not their fault, I'm going to have to go with Meryl Streep. Over-rated crap actress. Probably not her fault either. She did gleam like a little pearl in: "the deer hunter", but....she's such a whining, miserable old sod, she gets on my tits. And believe me, you'd rather hear me rant about kate's than about mine. Mine are particularly small and hairy. I'm male.
Anyway, she also starred in "The bridges of ma..maaa.maaa" whatever it was called.
I can't blame Clint for that film. I have a weak spot for Clint.

On ITV in Britain, a few years ago now, there was a live TV debate on which actor was the best cowboy. It was between Clint and the Duke.
Me hating the Duke almost as much as I hate Tom, made me love and understand Clint like I'd never done before.
Par example (that's French): The good, the bad and the ugly. I used to root for the wee Mexican like chap. But since the big cowboy debate, I always root for Clint.
Lucky for me there's only one ending to the film...

PS
8 legged freaks is about spiders.

1. Paulie, if you were younger you would like Harry Potter. For adults it's crappy, for kids Harry gets everything they want. It's nice to dream.

2. Shavixmir, have you seen Forest Gump, or the Lady Killers? I thought he played those parts perfectly.

3. Worst movie EVER is above all Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. I guess it would be a great movie if you had a few beers.

4. The movie Signs wasn't exactly great but I liked the moral and the ending.

5. My favorite movie would have to be between Jurasic Park and Jurasic Park 3. What's more fun than blood and guts? I didn't like Jurasic park 2 very much because it was so predictable.

6. Shavixmir, women serve a greater purpose than to entertain you with their boobs.

I actually fell asleep at the cinema whilst watching this poor attempt at film making. The producers were just out to make a quick buck for little outlay from what was/is a massive money making machine. If the budget had been bigger and they didn`t use almost every English bit part player around, I think the film would have been much better. My wife liked it and so did a lot of my friends that saw it, so I don`t think age has anything to do with it.
