@divegeester saidI love the same thing watching Hockey (Ice Hockey) π
I love having a bunch of friends around to watch football (soccer), especially if it’s a big final or international tournament.

@very-rusty saidDo you have any friends to watch it with?

@divegeester saidIf you ever get a chance to travel to a European final with friends do it. The Super Cup isn't rated that highly, but even that was an excellent trip when we played your lot in Istanbul.

@relentless-red saidI’ve only seen one football game abroad and that was Barca v Levante in 2012 at the Nou Camp. Amazing experience and Barca were phenomenal to watch especially Messi. 6-0.

@divegeester saidI've had two visits to the Nou Camp. We won one and drew the other. A lucky ground for me. Friendly and welcoming city as well. We went a bit off the beaten track for a drink at one of them and were made very welcome by the locals. Good reaction to where Liverpool fans were congregated together as well. Locals turned out to hear the singing. That's mainly what I've seen in most places TBH, but bizarrely not the stuff that gets on TV.

@divegeester saidFunny that was the same match I went to in 2015 but Messi was rubbish and missed a pen in a 4-1 win (I think) that neymar dominated.

@relentless-red saidYes nice city. Not so pleasant during the last recession about 9 years though. I was there on business a went for a stroll where I was propositioned by a very attractive prostitute and 20 steps later offered drugs, both in Las Ramblas with uniformed police standing watching nearby.

@divegeester saidSounds like Cartagena in Colombia. Probably the prostitute was Colombian and the drugs Colombian. I think in certain areas things are just accepted and las rambles is one of those areas. You should visit Bangkok if the world ever gets back to normal.

Also spent a lot of time on the West coast in Buenaventura. Back when I was there, early 90's that was the wild west. Cops rode around in heavily armoured trucks during the day and locked themselves in their barracks at night.
The locals in Cartagena were always horrified when I told them I was going to Buenaventura next. Personally I loved the place.
