QUI PEUT LE PLUS PEUT LE MOINS

It's for me a little difficult to translate that in english, because english isn't my mother-tongue. But I think clever people understand what it means...

What is your motto / sentence of life?

I'd like to say it was: "If it's got a hole, stick something in it."

But, alas...my motto has turned out to be: "Oh good grief. Why me?"
Sometimes complimented with: "Oh God no. Not again."

Hmm... Would it have anything to do with a 98 year old man trying to rape you?

Uhhhh....no.....
But when it does, it will certainly fall under the: "oh good grief, why me?" catagory.

"Le silence de chacun assure le repos de tous" - "The silence of each assures restfulness for all"

or

"Ser mas listo que el hambre" (Hunger makes you more clever)

or to be slightly less high brow:
"Live dangerous, die young, stay a pretty corpse"

And I can't believe noone's written the cliche "Carpe Diem"

I take it you "have" the corpse before you die.
