I played American Football at University for 5 years (Stirling, then Nottingham), then played for Kent in the British Senior League until I quit last year. I also like keeping active and enjoy most outdoor activities.

I like most sports on TV, apart from horseracing which I hate with a passion, especially when it seems to be on every channel!!!!

Soccer and cricket. They're my main ones. But cross country? I've got detention for walking it!😛

Wrestling - a sport? Have you been smoking an illegal substance? I thought sport was a contest where the idea was to try to win. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't wrestling fixed?

At Stirling Uni I played outside and inside LB, while at Nottingham Uni I played inside LB and centre on the O-line. When I played for Kent I was left tackle on the O-line.

We are a lot smaller in the UK game 😉

Yes I have ridden a horse, my sister even used to own one for about 10 years.

Horse racing is only about gambling, nothing else. If it was not for the gambling element it would not be on TV (though these days with the BBC...).

I can think of no other sport where the "odds" are as important as the protagonists, even the result itself. The only reason poeple remember a horse race is because they won money on it or lost it. Obviously this is a big generalisation, but horse racing on TV sucks.
