I like stratego, because I have a very good visual memory and im good at strategy.
I always use a strategy of centralising the most important pieces and then create a walkway along the 3rd rank. So that the important pieces can quickly defend/attack where needed.

I stare out my neighbours. It requires some good strategic thinking to even get them to make eye contact these days...

I always liked an elaborate flag defense. The flag in one corner. Two bombs next to it. Three 7s next to them. And finally, four more bombs next to them. Any enemy 8 which pierces the outer cordon of bombs will be killed by the defending 7. Then they'll have to get another 8 in there to breach the inner cordon of bombs.

Rome Total War, and the like. Magic, and the like. An occasional poker, monopoly, checkers, or scrabble game tickle my fancy. I know some of them aren't strategy games in this strictest sense of the word.

I like the game Risk. I really like to play hearts and spades as far as card games are concerned. Theres alot more strategy involved in it than most people think.

I love strategy games!
Oh, and does strategically spreading rumors just for the joy of watching the ensuing b!tching around count as a game? Or manipulating people just for the heck of it?
