I always liked an elaborate flag defense. The flag in one corner. Two bombs next to it. Three 7s next to them. And finally, four more bombs next to them. Any enemy 8 which pierces the outer cordon of bombs will be killed by the defending 7. Then they'll have to get another 8 in there to breach the inner cordon of bombs.
Thats a nice system for defence, I'll have to remember it.

Poker
Risk (and GodStorm variant, which is much much better)
Age of Empires (all versions including Rise of Nations)
Total War


Settlers (or Catan as it's also called), City's and Knight's Expansion!!! (This board game, if you haven't already tried it, will change your life forever!!)

Did i miss anything??...

Would really like to try Go and chinese chess, other than that i think i have enouph obsessions already!

I play Poker and Rummy with friends, Chess over the internet, Risk occassionally and Civilization 2 on my computer.

Yeah, I've been known to play pocket billards also. I just don't think that is really a two player, strategic game though. I mean, how is the other person suppossed to get thier hand in your front pocket?
