It's not like they showed black lungs and molten brains. They even suggested something like: 'cannabis increases creativity, brain-activity, plus it gives you ...[text shortened]... lowly preparing society for the legalisation of cannabis.

But maybe I'm just being paranoid.
Was the final line intended as a joke? Because I sure as hell laughed.

What always amuses me is the smoking part of it.
What if you eat it?

No lung problems...nothing...

And as far as it leading to harder drugs... If I have to explain this one more time after this, I'm going to spontaniously combust (and since I've told you I will, it's not very spontanious anymore either):

Soft drugs do not lead to harder drugs. The same people selling soft drugs and other drugs leads to the use of harder drugs.
It's that bloody simple.

I thought marijuana was a hard drug until I learned how to roll a joint. Now it's not hard at all.

Mark..people make choices and people make their own decisions..dealers don't force punters to buy harder drugs..they make that decision alone. I have known and still know people who started smoking cannabis, made a choice to try heroin and have been addicted for many years now. Just because you believe something different doesn't make it so does it. Oh .. and by the way you make a sweeping generalisation in another thread that all English girls are 'easy' or something along those lines. I take great offence to this and put it on par with RBHills comments on iraqis and thai women. If you feel you have a problem with me or want to discuss something with me please do it with a PM.

Now you see this?

This is about the hundreth time I've seen this type of comment. The men here are quite rude and apparently insecure in themselves around strong women. Is this the only way you think you can level the playing field, by hurling deragatory comments? Are you so incompetent that you feel that much trepidation from a woman who speaks her mind?

Here's an ex-smoker's theory about cannabis:
Pros:
1) It makes you very stupid, so it's easier to convince yourself that it makes you creative, so you become faux-inspired by faux-everything
2) It makes you very stupid, so you enjoy watching television and crap movies like The Matrix over and over and over.
3) It makes you very stupid, so you make ridiculous conclusions about life that make no sense later
4) It makes you very stupid, therefore it improves your driving skill and helps you concentrate on playing Diablo II for 27 hours straight with nothing but a 2 litre bottle of sprite next to you and your bong.

Cons:
1) It only makes you very stupid for a little while, but on the plus side, if you smoke enough you can remain stupid forever.
2) Prison

And the gateway drug theory is about as believable as Jesus Christ being the son of God.

What I am saying is that when you seperate soft drugs from hard drugs (like in Holland) you don't have the same people pushing both substances and therefor you lower the chances of people being tempted to use the other drug.

THC, the substance in cannabis does not entice you to try harder drugs. Like alcohol doesn't either.

My comment on English girls being "easy" was a joke as part of a joke and has absolutely nothing to do with you or any other English girl I know. It was a sweeping generalisation and should be observed and judged as such...otherwise it wouldn't be funny.

What? So your argument is to hurl derogatory comments right back?

Nyxie, get some sleep. wucky3 is quite capable of defending herself without some sort of vaginal rallying cry from you. I do not fear a woman who speaks her mind, just as I do not fear a man who speaks his mind. Stop trying to band all the women on this site together in some sort of victim-mentality bracket with yourself. If you want to speak your mind, speak it without wearing your genitalia like a war-banner.
