Remember watching this, I don't want to think what year it was....
It was on for 4 years, 1987-1991.
Her dad was an alien (the voice of Burt Reynolds, you never saw him), and her mom was an earthling. Comedy ensued when their 13 year old kid Evie got into trouble for using her "alien" powers.
Over the course of the show, I went from 11 to 15, so I could relate.

I think we got it around the same time here, maybe a little after.
I never knew the dad (alien) was Burt Reynolds!
I looked at the show in the clip too before I posted it and didn't place him, he just sounded like the alien dad I remembered... I'm gobsmacked to be honest.
