if it is a bug it should be easy for Russ and Chris and you should get your rating points back

I don't know. I don't think I hit resign. But then again I am stupid and couldn't done it on accident. It's prolly me and not the rating system after all. Who knows. How embarassing if I hit resign by accident on my winning move! That would be insane! :'( I will get over it.
When I click 'resign', then click 'move', a window pops up and confirms that I want to resign. So if you somehow managed to click resign by accident, you would still have to confirm your intention to resign before it actually did it.
I'm sure you would notice the confirmation window, so maybe there was some sort of malfunction.
Maybe you should discuss it with Chris/Russ and with your opponent.
